At the Indian Culture Knowledge Examination conducted at Shantikunj, Haridwar by the Gayatri Parivar, among 9 students from 6 districts of the state, Rudra Prabhudas, a Deaf student from Modasa, secured First Rank.
The Blind Welfare Centre, Ranip (Ahmedabad) honoured Lion Dr. T. B. Patel, President of Lions Club Society, with an award for his continuous and outstanding contribution in the field of welfare for persons with disabilities over the past 35 years.
Tithi Bhojan, meals were sponsored by generous donors of society for around 200 Deaf and differently-abled boys and girls of the institution.
On the auspicious occasion of Shri Ram Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav, Mahant Shri Dhangiri Maharaj (Devraj Dham) and Devraj Mandir organized Devraj Dham Darshan along with special meals for the differently-abled children of the institution.
The Fire Department Team of Aravalli District visited the institution and provided complete practical fire safety training to the differently-abled students.

An Industrial Visit was organized for students at Gopal Snacks Pvt. Ltd., Rahiol Plant.
An On-the-Job Training Program was organized in various trades for the differently-abled trainees of Lions ITI.
Students of the School for the Deaf were taken to watch a movie at Atlanta Theatre, with arrangements sponsored by Shri Priyankbhai Patel and Shri Ajaybhai Patel.
The IFFCO Kalol Unit donated a Fully Automatic Roti Maker Machine (worth ₹2,00,000) to the institution. The machine was formally handed over in the distinguished presence of Shri Pirmalbhai Patel and Shri Amitbhai Patel of IFFCO Kalol Unit.
Former trainees of Lions ITI, who are now successfully earning their livelihood through self-employment, jobs, and businesses, were honoured with Certificates of Appreciation by Hon. Shri Bhikhusinhji Parmar, Hon. State Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Social Justice & Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat. On this auspicious occasion, the Lions Club Society felicitated the Hon. Minister with due respect.

Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel Graces Group Wedding Ceremony for Differently-Abled Couples Organized by Lions Club in Modasa
In a heartwarming first for Aravalli district, the Lions Club Modasa organized a group wedding ceremony celebrating the union of seven deaf and speech-impaired couples. Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel attended as the guest of honor, personally congratulating each of the newlyweds, presenting them with their marriage certificates, and distributing orders for marriage assistance benefits under the Social Security Department.
The brides were showered with gifts by generous donors from across Modasa, various talukas of Aravalli district, and well-wishers from across India and abroad. Spiritual blessings were conveyed by Goswami Mahant Dhangiri Maharaj of the revered Devrajdham — the samadhi of Sant Devayat Pandit Chetan in Bajkot.
According to the organization’s president Dr. T.B. Patel, Group Wedding Project Chairman and Vice President Kamleshbhai Patel, and Vice President Dr. Jitendrabhai P. Patel, the beneficiaries were given a total of 165 items including household goods, furniture, and jewelry from the organization as well as donors. The district administration also extended its support.
To ensure the overall development of deaf and speech-impaired children—through education, technical training, employment opportunities, and arranging marriages—the organization’s secretary Bhaveshbhai Jaiswal, along with Sureshbhai Patel, Vinodbhai Patel, Kanubhai Patel, Dr. Manishbhai Patel, and Jayeshbhai Patel, are continuously working towards this cause.
